Dam: Heiken's Ark Gypsy LB - Gray and White Spot
DOB: 4/26/14
Gender: Jennet
Description: What a beautiful little jenny!

There sure is some truth that a Jenny will deliver her foal on her own schedule, not anyone else's. Flower came into this world during a party that we were having at our house. We were lucky enough to notice her mom, Gypsy, going into labor on our barn camera. By the time a friend and I walked to the barn, Gypsy had moved outside the barn for all at party to see what was going on. We saw that Gypsy, being a first time mom, was having a little difficulty with the delivery. After consulting with another friend, who advised us to help with the delivery, Gypsy had this awesome little girl in front of all the party-goers at the house!
When she was born she was very wet, very dark, and very hairy. She looked like a skunk with her "black" strip down her spine.
Flower has a lot more fur than most foals. She appears to have the wooly gene, as both of her parents have wooly genes in their pedigrees. She will make a fantastic brood jennet.
